How my journey Started...
Rewind back to 2019 and my life looked a little different to how it does now! I was working in a professional corporate role as a chartered surveyor and I’d studied / trained for several years before qualifying in 2017. I should have been happy, right?
But something wasn’t OK after a while…
CAREER EXIT
After encountering difficult bosses/colleagues and work environments, I began to doubt myself a lot. During the pandemic, my confidence plummeted and a surge of anxiety came over me, that made every day a struggle - I was TOTALLY on edge. Cue my swift exit from another company after just 8 months.
WHY NOT ME?
At the beginning of 2020 I began to dabble in Network Marketing through my travel blog Ceejyloves (first biz baby). By the end of the year, I knew it was not for me at all! But I’d learnt a lot about personal development, growing my mindset and the possibilities open to me - thanks to Carrie Green at the Female Entrepreneur Association (FEA) and Michelle Rohr at the Secret OWL Society.
So it’s safe to say that as I made this major career move, starting a business (for real) was very much on my radar. The more I saw other women doing it, the more I couldn’t NOT. The cogs were spinning....
PIVOT.... PIVOT!
Fast forward to 2021 and I’d successfully pivoted from my travel blog business to Creative Goddess Club and set myself on a mission to help creative women start a business from their passion.
The stars aligned.
After a number of ‘experiments’ and taking (a lot) of messy action, coaching, starting a podcast, qualifying as an NLP Practitioner and having my daughter in Jan 2023…. I had a very beautiful moment of clarity on maternity leave 💡

My thought was 'Why not use all of this online experience to help women with their businesses? The reality was that I needed flexibility as a new Mum, I had to build a business that worked for ME.
At first, it was terrifying, I worried about what others would think and I felt like an imposter. It also seemed overwhelming to start something new at such a busy time of my life with so many fewer free hours! But I simply shared my VA services and found my first clients within a month!
CONTENT CREATION FOCUS
Now? Over a year on, I work with women who are tired of figuring out their content and doing all the things when it comes to their content creation. I often find that my clients put off creating content because it isn’t a priority, but they know they could benefit from creating a Pinterest account, starting a podcast, posting regularly on socials, or releasing a monthly blog.
The thing is, they LOVE their business and want to be able to focus more on the things that they enjoy doing, not draining their energy creating content or deciding what to post just for the sake of it.
From helping a talented make-up artist with her blog, to co-ordinating regular social posts for a “human-focused” HR services business, to creating regular brand-aligned pins for a career coach…
I love the diversity of my content-creation-focused work, and ultimately being able to help amazing women do more of what they do best!!
MY WHY 💜
And it is a 100% WIN-WIN for me because not only do I get to help women in this way, but also have the gift of time to spend with my energetic toddler daughter, partner (and working on myself!) as I’m able to work the hours I need. Oh, and I can be creative on my own terms which is just fabulous. In short, I’m able to create the business I need at this moment in my life when flexibility is so key.
